Welcome and enjoy pictures and stories of my year in Churchill in the making.

These pictures were taken on a rainy day while I was out cruisin in my beloved Jeep. The first two pictures are of a Gold Eagle I found on the back road. I watch him long enough to catch and eat a fish.  The other pictures are of the rocks along the back road, ppl who are leaving town or who have lived there a long time sign the rocks. The other pics are by the Churchill river.

These pictures are taken at the Flatts, also the shores of the Churchill River. Watched this seal swim around and come check me and Joanne.

Hello sorry its been awhile since my last post. Lost my charger for my camera battery. But I found it so here are some pictures I took in the last couple of days. They are of the sunset cuz we get lots of awesome sunsets around here and the boat is the infamous Ithica. I'll also post some video of a whale
my friend and I watched the other day. Enjoy!!

There was a beautiful sunset last night so Donica and I went out to Cape Merry to take pictures. Sorry some of them are a bit dark, camera wouldn't lighten it up much, oh well they still turned out pretty fantastic. Enjoy!

These are pictures of my first boat ride of the year. I went out with Cyril the man who is teaching me how to hunt and live off the land and his brother Grant. We went out to the Weir which is the mass of rocks, it goes from one end of the river to the other. We got out of the boat and walked around on the rocks.

This is a beaver house we found, it was massive! Grant even walked up to the top of it.

Canada Goose nest, the mom sat on it till we were almost right up to it. Then she took off before I could get a picture of her. But I got to take a picture of her eggs instead.
Those dark spots on the pictures, those are seals. I wish I had a better zoom on my camera!! But yes we saw about 8 seals laying out on the rocks here. I didn't know that seals were soooo massive.
