Went to the King and Queen Trapper event this evening. They are having a compition and whoever is the best trapper gets either King or Queen depending on the gender of the winner. Today they shot at a fake deer and some fake ptarmigan with a bow'n arrow, sling shot with a stone( I assume it was a stone). I left before it happened but I think they threw an hatchet at a target, and maybe they did some other things. They also had the tundra buggy there for people to warm up in. It was very exciting seeing the Tundra Buggy! They were serving bannock and hot chocolate inside too. If they have it out again tomorrow I'll take a picture of the inside and another one of the amazingness underneithe this thing! Look at those tires! aren't they beautiful, makes me want to go off roading. Can you imagine this thing in a mud bog?! haha

These are pictures from the hockey tourny that happened two weekend ago. The team that is playing has some of my daycare kids on it. At this tournament I won the 50/50 which was 211.00 and I also won 2 prizes from the penny sale. It was a good weekend!

This is what I saw on my way to the Northern the other day. Pretty sure theres not a bear hanging from the helicopter, but thats what it looks like when they do carry a bear off that has been cought in town.

These are the mitts I'm making! Just finished the lining on Thursday and got the vamp's ready. The vamps are the flaps with the beading done on them. I'm gonna do bear paws, I thought I better stay in the spirit of all things bear seeing as how I love bears so much.

This is the kids carnival that went on on Saturday. I helped Joanne (who is in the last picture) make and hand out cotton candy. I should also mention that Joanne is my Churchill mom, I couldn't ask for a better one. She's a great fill in for the Mom I miss so very much!!!. Actually Joanne made the cotton candy with her fancy machine and then I helped bag it and put it on the table for the kids to take. Had lots of fun helping out and also got to enjoy some of the cotton candy. In the second picture is Heather Bochuck, she just happend to walk through my picture. Her sister lives in Morden, Leah Bettie is her sister. Heather is a really nice lady always have a good time talking to her. Her boy who comes to the daycare is also super cute. :)
Sorry about the Louie the lighning bug picture, wish it wasn't fuzzy.
